Mr. Abshir Mohamed Isse
Mr. Abshir is currently the Director General of the Somali Development and Reconstruction bank. He has over 26 years of banking experience covering both conventional and Islamic investment Banking and Finance. Before joining Somali Reconstruction and Development Bank, Mr. Abshir was the General Manager of Dayax Islamic Bank in Bosaso, Puntland, Somalia for six years. He was also the General Manager of Amaahda Danyarta- microfinance institution funded by the European Union , which was operating in Bosaso and Galkaio in Puntland, Somalia. He attended many seminars and conferences relating planning and managing Microfinance institutions. Mr. Abshir holds a Bachelor Degree in Economic Science from Florence University, Itally.
